iPhone SDK jetzt mit Interface Builder

Apple hat heute eine neue Version des iPhone SDK veröffentlicht. Neu ist in erster Linie, daß der Interface Builder jetzt enthalten ist. Die Version ist "nur" noch 1.36 GB groß.

Interface Builder makes creating an application's user interface easier by allowing developers to use its graphical editing environment to manage virtually every aspect of creating a well designed user interface that adheres to the Aqua user interface guidelines.

Seit gestern ist es offiziell: Harmonix bringt Rockband auf die Wii!

MTV Games, Harmonix and EA Announce Rock Band™ for Wii on June 22, 2008

The number one selling game in February 2008 is coming to Wii!

Cambridge, MA – March 24, 2007-- Harmonix, the leading developer of music-based games, and MTV Games, a division of MTV Networks, which is a division of Viacom (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), along with distribution partner Electronic Arts, Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS), today announced plans to release the award-winning music video game Rock Band on the Wii™ home video game system from Nintendo in the U.S. and Canada on June 22, 2008 for the suggested retail price of $169.99.

Rock Band for Wii will be released as a Special Edition bundle including the software, drums, microphone and a wireless guitar. Stand alone instruments will also be available on June 22nd for people who want to build their band one instrument at a time or want to play the drum versus drum game mode. The game will feature 63 songs including five bonus songs for Wii gamers to enjoy.

iPhone 1.1.4: "That was easy!"

So einfach war es noch nie, ein iPhone zu aktivieren, jailbreaken und entsperren. Egal um welches Modell es sich handelt (hinsichtlich Bootloader, Revision, Herstellungswoche, Baseband-Firmware usw.), das Tool "ZiPhone 2.5" erledigt alles mit einem Mausklick.

Ich selbst habe mich in zwei Schritten zum ersten Mal von der TurboSIM verabschiedet:

1. Restore auf 1.1.4 in iTunes
2. Jailbreak, Aktivierung und Unlock mit ZiPhone

Ein Restore wird empfohlen, da sich die Verzeichnisstruktur geändert hat (nach 1.1.2). Auf diese Weise gibt es garantiert keine Probleme mit falschen Pfaden von Third Party Apps über den Installer usw. Auch die Synchronisationsprobleme gehören damit der Vergangenheit an. Schritt 2. dauert ca 3-4 Minuten, danach ist alles fertig und der neue Installer ist ebenfalls installiert.
